(Full Time) Property Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an organised, efficient, and proactive Property Manager at an established property management company. Previous experience as a Property Manager is required.

 

This person will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic, and they will be joining a team of experienced property professionals.  

 

This position is home-based so a dedicated workspace within your home is essential for this role (A computer/Laptop can be provided). The candidate must ensure that their internet speed is at an acceptable level to achieve the optimal workable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Booking checkouts and inspections

  • Ensuring all compliance checks and certificates are up to date

  • Manage relationships with landlords and tenants and provide a first-class service.

  • Commission necessary maintenance, renovation and refurbishment work required. Working closely with contractors to ensure the work is carried out to a high standard and within budget.

  • Take responsibility for the end of the tenancy process resulting in a smooth transition.

  • Sourcing contractors and co-ordinating maintenance works

  • Ensuring gas and electrical checks are undertaken in a timely and compliant manner, along with any remedial works if required

  • Co-ordinating matters between landlords and tenants and updating our client when required

  • Dealing with check-outs and related returns of deposits and disputes

  • Dealing with, but not limited to, handling of general property enquiries that landlords, tenants and clients may have.

  • Ensuring emails are answered in a timely fashion by ensuring they have the skills to manage their workload independently.

  • Handling statement queries if related to maintenance works arranged

  • Daily/Weekly online meetings with Senior Management

 

Skills:

  • Proactive, hard-working, and flexible

  • Strong customer service skills and excellent organisation skills

  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative, and at times under pressure

  • Must be able to multi-task and manage time to meet strict deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, negotiation skills, and phone manner

  • Previous experience in Property Management / Estate Agency is mandatory

  • (at least 2 years experience)

  • Computer literate in Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel

  • Exceptional understanding of the company's core values and vision

  • Must be able to handle and deal with difficult and sometimes confrontational conversations.

The working hours are full-time Mon-Friday - Ideally, the candidate will start ASAP.
